The Covid-19 positive cases in Karnataka have risen to 10 with a 63-year-old doctor from Kalaburagi being the latest case. The doctor had treated the 76-year-old man who was the first corona virus victim in the country.
Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner B Sharath tweeted: “It is confirmed that the 63-year-old doctor is infected with corona virus and is currently under home isolation. Later in the day he will be shifted to the isolation ward.”
‘TREATED 250’
Sources said the doctor was not aware that the 76-year-old was infected while he was treating him. “After almost 19 days, the doctor is a confirmed case. During this period he has treated around 250 patients. If this is the case, there may be a panic situation in Kalaburagi,” said a source.
