The Mizoram government is pushing forward with a plan to transfer the state’s sole airport, Lengpui, to the Indian Air Force (IAF). Chief Minister Lalduhoma announced that a draft memorandum of agreement is being prepared. This move, however, has sparked considerable opposition from various political and civil groups.
