Deepa Cholan Transferred to Transport Department as Secretary to Government

Bengaluru, June 7: Senior IAS officer Deepa Cholan (2008 batch) has been transferred from the Urban Development Department and posted as Secretary to Government, Transport Department.
According to the state government’s notification, she replaces Dr. Prasad N.V., IAS, in the Transport Department.

Deepa Cholan was serving as Secretary to Government in the Urban Development Department (UD and Municipalities) prior to the transfer.
The move comes amid a series of administrative reshuffles aimed at strengthening governance and departmental coordination across key sectors.
