BMTC To Cut Operations

As a precautionary measure against the spread of the corona virus, BMTC will curtail 10 per cent of its schedules from Sunday, except for buses plying to the international airport.

Routes with high frequency will be affected. But BMTC has clarified that students appearing for exams will be catered to. Additional services will be operated depending upon the need.

BMTC has a fleet of 6,603 buses, operates 6,154 schedules and has a daily ridership of 36 lakh.
