A powerful explosion ripped through a mosque in northwestern Pakistan on Friday, injuring a local Islamist leader and three others, including children. Abdullah Nadeem, representing Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), is believed to have been the intended target and is now hospitalized with serious injuries, according to Asif Bahadar, the district police chief of South Waziristan.
