Bengalurulive effect: Protesting doc gets ‘suitable’ posting
BENGALURU/DAVANGERE:
The government doctor who had turned auto driver after he was denied a district-level posting has finally got justice. On Tuesday, the Health and Family Welfare Department issued a notification appointing him District Family Welfare Officer in Koppal.
The notification stated: “Dr Ravindranath MH, senior medical officer, Government hospital, Sedam, Kalaburagi district, will be in the interest of public and administration immediately brought into action. Until further orders, he is transferred as District Welfare Officer, Koppal.”
Speaking to thebengalurulive, Dr Ravindranath said, “I would like to thank theBengaluruLive and other media for supporting me. I am happy that I got the job as per the KAT order. Now I will get back to work.”

Will gift auto to poor driver
Dr Ravindranath has decided to give his autorickshaw to a poor auto driver as he is returning to his field of work.
“I have already made a down payment of Rs 40,000. Let the auto driver repay the remaining loan instalment and let his situation improve. This will help his family too,” said Dr Ravindranath.
