Bengaluru Central City Corporation Launches Special Cleanliness Drive, Cleans 80 Bus Shelters
Bengaluru, March 18: The Bengaluru Central City Corporation has initiated a special cleanliness drive, with Commissioner Rajendra Cholan announcing that 80 bus shelters have been cleaned on the first day of the campaign.
Under this initiative, bus shelters across various assembly constituencies have been cleaned, including 11 in Shantinagar, 24 in C.V. Raman Nagar, 19 in Gandhinagar, 12 in Chamrajpet, 8 in Chickpet, and 7 in Shivajinagar.
This effort aims to provide a more comfortable waiting experience for the public and students at bus stops.
The primary objective of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation is to maintain cleanliness and create a waste-free city. A key goal of this campaign is to achieve a higher ranking in the national cleanliness index by 2025-26.
