Bengaluru: Karnataka and Enterprise Singapore have discussed a structured investment-cooperation mechanism, sector-specific business delegations and stronger support for investors, Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil said.
Patil held discussions with Enterprise Singapore chairman Lee Chuan Teck and his delegation to deepen industrial cooperation. The engagement followed Karnataka’s investment roadshow in Singapore from September 23 to 25, 2026.

Aerospace, chips and advanced manufacturing in focus
The discussions covered investment opportunities in aerospace, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, logistics, food processing and digital infrastructure, Patil said.
He said ST Engineering had expressed interest in expanding its Indian operations in aerospace, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), precision engineering and defence technologies. Nordic Flow Control, he added, saw Karnataka as a promising destination for industrial automation and precision manufacturing.
Existing Singapore investments cited
Patil cited the presence of CapitaLand, SATS and STT GDC India in Karnataka. STT GDC India is developing a 100 MW data-centre campus in Devanahalli with an investment of approximately ₹5,000 crore, he said.
The ₹5,000 crore figure referred to that existing development; the post did not announce a fresh investment approval for this amount.
He also referred to the Singapore Business Federation’s establishment of a Singapore Enterprise Centre in Bengaluru in November 2025.
Patil said the next-stage discussions included a structured collaboration mechanism between Enterprise Singapore and Invest Karnataka, targeted business delegations in key sectors and assistance for investors.
The focus, he said, was on converting the engagement into investments, technology partnerships and quality employment opportunities for Karnataka.
