Romanian authorities have blocked far-right pro-Russian candidate Calin Georgescu from participating in May’s rerun of the canceled presidential election. Georgescu plans to challenge this decision at the Constitutional Court, arguing against the ban that stems from past constitutional rulings and allegations of Russian interference in his favor.
