The United States is monitoring the situation in Ecuador and is willing to cooperate with the Ecuadorian government to deal with the violence, White House spokesman John Kirby said on Wednesday, but ruled out U.S. military support. "We’re willing to take concrete steps to improve our cooperation with the government of Ecuador as they begin to deal with the violence," Kirby told reporters at a briefing.
