State sees highest single-day Covid count of 7,883

Bengaluru sees 2,802 cases, 23 deaths   

BENGALURU: 

Karnataka recorded its highest-ever single-day tally of 7,883 cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, while 113 deaths were also reported. 

The total tally of infections is now 1,96,494 and the total death toll is 3,510. 

On the brighter side, the recovery rate has also risen, with 7,034 persons being discharged on Wednesday. Of a total of 1,96,494 corona cases, 1,12,633 have been discharged so far while 80,343 are still in Covid hospitals. 

In Bengaluru, 2,082 people tested positive and 23 deaths were reported.
