Bengaluru: Amid growing speculation over a possible cabinet reshuffle in Karnataka, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has clarified that there is nothing wrong with aspiring legislators visiting New Delhi, emphasising that the final decision rests with the party high command.

Responding to reports of several ministerial aspirants travelling to the national capital, the Chief Minister stated that such visits are natural in a democratic setup and should not be viewed negatively.

He noted that the cabinet reshuffle process is still pending and suggested that the delay could be due to multiple factors, including elections in five states and the recently concluded budget session.

The remarks come at a time when political activity within the ruling party has intensified, with several MLAs lobbying for ministerial positions. Siddaramaiah reiterated that any decision regarding cabinet expansion or reshuffle will ultimately be taken by the Congress high command.
