Mysuru: A notorious criminal, known as a rowdy sheeter, was brutally attacked and killed with deadly weapons in front of a hotel in Varuna taluk late Sunday night.
The victim, identified as Karthik (32), a resident of Kyathamaranahalli in Mysuru city, was viciously assaulted by a group of six individuals who arrived on a scooter and a car in front of a hotel near Varuna at 1:45 am on Sunday night.
The murder is believed to be a result of a longstanding feud. The body of Karthik has been transported to K.R. Hospital in Mysore for a post-mortem examination.
A case has been filed at Varuna Police Station, and authorities are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
