A staggering 7.9 million devotees have already taken the sacred plunge at the Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati meet, as per official data released by the Uttar Pradesh government. The 2025 Mahakumbh Mela witnessed the presence of over 200,000 Kalpavasis and significantly more worshippers.
