No oxygen shortage in Ballari: DC

There is no shortage of oxygen for Covid and non-Covid patients in the district, according to Deputy Commissioner SS Nakul. 

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, he said nodal officers are keeping an eye on adequate supply of oxygen to hospitals.  

There are more than 1,500 oxygen-linked beds in government hospitals, 350 oxygen-linked beds in private hospitals, and 88 ventilators for both Covid and non-Covid patients, he said. Oxygen is being supplied to taluk hospitals through jumbo cylinders and 6 kilo litre liquid oxygen containers, he added.
