Mangaluru man praises ‘saviours’
Testimony to work of ‘corona warriors’

In another heart-warming departure from grim coronavirus statistics, a Mangaluru man who recovered from Covid-19 has heaped praise on the doctors, healthcare workers and police for their selfless work.
On Monday, DGP Praveen Sood shared the video of the recovered patient’s emotional thank-you note to the doctors. Sood tweeted: “Police/ BBMP/ health officials are facilitating contacts of COVID + to move to institutional quarantine for their own wellbeing. Anyone obstructing them should first listen to this.”
The video was first posted by Mangaluru City Police Commissioner P Harsha, who tweeted: “Just reproducing the experiences of a cured COVID19 patient. Please listen to the first-hand account about the care the entire team of police officers, doctors, nurses and paramedics have given…”.
Unfortunately, on the other hand there have been attacks in Bengaluru city on health staff discharging their duties.
