West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has criticized the planning and management of the forthcoming Maha Kumbh 2025, dubbing it ‘Mrityu Kumbh’ due to the lack of effective arrangements. Addressing the Legislative Assembly, she underscored respect for the sanctity of Maha Kumbh and the revered Ganga, while condemning organizers for the chaos and deadly stampedes at Prayagraj on January 29 and New Delhi Railway Station on February 15.
