Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a Special Stray Vacancy Round to fill vacant undergraduate medical and dental seats, allowing fresh registration for candidates who have not applied earlier.
KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna said candidates who have not been allotted a medical seat so far are eligible. Candidates already allotted a dental seat may take part only for medical seats.
Fresh registration will be open from November 2 to 4. Candidates must pay the advance fee between November 4 and 6 and enter fresh options from November 6 to 9.
KEA Special Stray Vacancy Round schedule
The seat-allotment result will be announced at 1 pm on November 11. Candidates allotted a seat must pay the remaining fee and complete admission formalities at their respective colleges by November 13.
The advance fee stated in the KEA release is ₹25 lakh for medical seats and ₹1 lakh for dental seats. Eligible candidates should complete registration, fee payment and option entry within the announced deadlines.
