Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has invited applications for 218 junior engineer posts across government departments and bodies, with November 26 as the application deadline and November 27 as the last date to pay the fee.
The vacancies comprise 187 posts in the Residual Parent Cadre and 31 in the Kalyana Karnataka cadre, KEA Executive Director H Prasanna said.
Eligibility and examination schedule
Candidates with a diploma or an equivalent qualification can apply. The written examination will be held in January, while the Kannada language test is scheduled for January 8.
The recruitment covers junior engineer vacancies in the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), KHB, Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Ltd, the Groundwater Directorate, Karnataka State Minerals Corporation and the state’s slum development body.
The notice also refers to assistant town planner vacancies in urban development authorities and the Commissionerate of Town and Country Planning.
Prasanna advised candidates to consult the KEA website for details of the recruitment.
