Out of 693 Covid cases, 354 have recovered

Karnataka witnessed 20 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, taking the state’s total to 693 positive cases with 23 new discharges.
The report from the health department stated that among the new cases, 13 were reported from Badami in Bagalkot where all patients are linked to previous patient 607, a 23-year-old female from Badami and a case of SARI.
Apart from 13 in Bagalkot and three in Dakshina Kannada, two cases were reported from Bengaluru Urban and one each from Kalaburagi and Vijayapura. Among the new cases, 10 are men and the rest are women.
A 40-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man tested positive in Bengaluru Urban. Both patients were in contact with previous patients and are under observation at a designated city hospital.
The health department has noted that the recovery rate is high in Karnataka as 354 out of 693 cases have recovered.
