Former Karnataka Education Minister B.C. Nagesh Dies at 65 in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Education Minister and former Tiptur MLA B.C. Nagesh died at his daughter’s residence in Bengaluru at 9 pm after a brief illness. He was 65.
Nagesh had served as a full-time worker of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and later served as Primary Education Minister during the BJP government in Karnataka.
According to family sources, his mortal remains will be kept at the BJP state office, Jagannath Bhavan, from 7 am to 8 am on August 19 for people to pay their last respects.
His last rites will be held in Tiptur, the family sources said.
Karnataka BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra expressed deep condolences over Nagesh’s death.
