Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot Participates in Census-2027 Enumeration Exercise in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, May 7: As part of the first phase of the National Census-2027, the House Listing and Housing Census operations are currently underway across the Greater Bengaluru Authority limits following their launch on April 16, 2026.
In connection with the ongoing census exercise, a team led by Bengaluru Central City Corporation Commissioner Dr. K. Harish Kumar visited the official residence of Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot on Thursday and carried out the census enumeration process.
During the exercise, Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot provided the required information to the census enumerators and cooperated with the officials conducting the survey.
The Governor urged citizens to actively participate in the Census-2027 process and provide accurate details to enumerators to ensure the successful completion of the nationwide exercise.
He also stressed the importance of completing the Census-2027 operations accurately and within the stipulated timeline.
Joint Commissioner Hemanth Sharan, along with census enumerators and officials, was present during the exercise.
