Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar also took his first dose

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine — Covaxin at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru, on Friday.
“Today I took the first dose of Made in India Covid-19 vaccine at Bangalore Medical College (PMSSY). I urge all those eligible to register themselves and get the vaccination at the earliest. Let each one of us join hands in making India and Karnataka Covid-19 free’ CM @BSYBJP,” Yediyurappa tweeted in the evening.

Doctor’s at hospital, prior to the vaccine administered to CM and also examined his pulse and blood pressure. It may be recalled that the CM tested positive for COVID-19 in August 2020 and was treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru.
Health and Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar who accompained Chief Minister, too took the first dose of the vaccine. “Happy to share that today I took the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination at Victoria Hospital. I humbly appeal to all those eligible to get vaccinated at the earliest. Let each one of us educate and encourage others to get the vaccine & join hands in making India Covid-19 free,” Sudhakar tweeted.
