KOLAR/BENGALURU:
Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kolar on Saturday. He claimed that the country’s debt had risen from 53 lakh 11 thousand crores to 125 lakh crores since Modi took office.
Addressing reporters, Siddaramaiah pointed out that while Modi often accuses Karnataka of being bankrupt, it is actually Modi himself who has driven the country into financial ruin. He challenged Modi to a face-to-face discussion, confident that he would repeat the same accusations in front of him.
Furthermore, Siddaramaiah dismissed Modi’s belief that the Congress party would soon fade away in the state as nothing more than a daydream.
