On Sunday, Ajay Rai, the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, met with the family of a journalist, Raghvendra Bajpai, who was shot dead. Rai called for the immediate arrest of the murderers and demanded a Rs 1 crore compensation for the bereaved family, along with a government job for Bajpai’s widow.
