IAS Officer Daljeet Kumar Transferred as CEO, Zilla Panchayat Haveri

Bengaluru, May 5, 2026: The Karnataka Government has issued a notification transferring IAS officer Daljeet Kumar (KN:2021) with immediate effect.

Daljeet Kumar, who was serving as Additional Commissioner (Development), Bengaluru Central City Corporation under the Greater Bengaluru Area, has now been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Zilla Panchayat, Haveri District.

According to the official order issued from the Karnataka Government Secretariat, the posting is made against a vacant position and will remain in effect until further orders.

The transfer is part of the state’s ongoing administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving district-level administration.
