Karnataka orders fire safety audit in 166 govt hospitals
BENGALURU:
Karnataka cadre IAS officer D Randeep is the latest who has tested covid-19.
Randeep is on deputation to the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and is heading Solid Waste Management wings as Special Commissioner. Currently he is under home quarantine. He announced about getting contracted with dreaded virus on twitter.
His tweet reads: “I have tested Positive for Covid (sample taken on 24th Aug). Being mildly symptomatic, I am under Home Isolation. I thank #Apthamitra & #BBMP East Control for frequent calls made to inform abt test result & health updates.”
“I have largely been under Home Quarantine this week, after giving test. Yet as due precautionary measure, I request those who have recently come in close contact with me to be in quarantine & get tested free at Govt PHC,” he added.
