Bengaluru-based Huawei Technologies of China has offered to train 2,000 diploma and engineering students in enhancing their skills.
A Huawei delegation led by Derek Hao met Deputy Chief Minister Dr C.N. Ashwath Narayan on Thursday and made the offer.
“Huawei is keen to impart skill development to our students in the fields of artificial intelligence and other new technologies. We will hold further talks with the company and take a decision,” Dr Narayan said.
