Cop was passing on probe info to drug suspects on the run
BENGALURU:
City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant has ordered the suspension of a head constable attached to the Sadashivanagar police station for allegedly helping persons accused of procuring drugs through the dark net.
The suspended head constable has been identified as Prabhakar. It is alleged that he was providing investigation- related information to the accused who were on the run. The fact came to light when the accused were arrested and spilt the beans.

It is also learnt that some of the arrested accused had links with some of the staff at the Chamarajpet post office.
