Investor meet in Bengaluru

Reiterating Karnataka’s pre-eminent position in the industrial sector, Nirani said, “We will conduct a ‘Global Investors Meet’ in Bengaluru in November 2022 and we expect a huge flow of investments and creation of jobs.”

Nirani said the ‘Space Week’ at the Dubai Expo from October 15 to 21 helped Karnataka project itself as an ideal destination for investments in the aerospace, defence and space sectors. ISRO and several start-ups in the space sector took part in the symposium at the India Pavilion.

‘Karnataka Now and Beyond’

He said the ‘Karnataka Now and Beyond’ programme highlighted the opportunities available in the aerospace, defence and space sectors in the state.

“Karnataka showcased its cultural heritage, industrial and technological advances, and the investment opportunities in the state,” said EV Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary.

On a separate note, the Minister warned against the misuse of KIADB land, adding that the government would cancel the allotment of land in such cases and that notices had already been issued to several people for misusing KIADB land.

Terming the recent entrepreneurship workshop and industry grievance meeting in Bengaluru a ‘grand success’, Nirani said similar programmes would be held in Kalaburagi on November 11 and 12 and subsequently in Belagavi, Mysuru, Mangaluru and Tumakuru.
