Karnataka BJP to Mark PM Modi’s 25 Years in Public Service With Month-Long Campaign From Sept 17
Bengaluru: The Karnataka BJP will organise a month-long series of service activities across the state from September 17 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and governance, state BJP president B.Y. Vijayendra said.
Speaking to the media at the BJP state office, Jagannath Bhavan, in Malleswaram, Vijayendra said the party would take Modi’s achievements to the people as part of the campaign. Programmes will be held at Anganwadi centres and an ‘Ashirvada Deepa’ lighting programme will also be organised, he said.
Vijayendra said the month-long campaign would highlight Modi’s achievements and the goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. A special workshop was organised in Bengaluru in preparation for the campaign, he added.
He said Karnataka BJP co-in-charge Sudhakar Reddy and Maharashtra Minister for Electronics, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Cultural Affairs Ashish Shelar were providing guidance for the initiative.
The campaign will begin across Karnataka on September 17, Vijayendra said.
