GBA Officer Munish Moudgil Gets Key Assignment as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister

Bengaluru, June 7: In a significant administrative move, Munish Moudgil (1998 batch IAS) has been entrusted with the concurrent charge of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister (Programme and Project Implementation).
Moudgil, currently serving as Special Commissioner (Administration, Revenue and IT) in the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), will continue to hold his existing responsibilities while taking up the new assignment.

The Karnataka Government has also declared the newly created post of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister (Programme and Project Implementation) equivalent in status and responsibilities to the cadre post of Principal Secretary to Government.
The appointment is being viewed as an effort to strengthen project monitoring and implementation within the Chief Minister’s Office.
