Former TV Anchor and Bigg Boss Contestant Jahnavi Joins JD(S) in Bengaluru
Bengaluru, May 24: Former television anchor, actress and ex-Bigg Boss reality show contestant Jahnavi officially joined the Janata Dal (Secular) in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Jahnavi said she decided to join the party expressing confidence in the leadership of former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda and Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.
She was formally inducted into the party in the presence of Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy and senior JD(S) leaders.
JD(S) State Women’s Wing President Rashmi Ramegowda welcomed Jahnavi into the party by handing over the party flag during the induction programme.
The development is being seen as part of JD(S)’s efforts to strengthen its outreach among youth and women ahead of upcoming political activities in the state.
