Elected twice on Cong ticket, he switched to BJP
BENGALURU:
M Nagaraj, a two-time BBMP former corporator, died due to the corona infection early on Friday morning.
Nagaraj, who suffered from respiratory problems, was being treated at a private hospital. But he did not respond to the treatment.
As per sources, he was suffering from multi-organ failure and his Covid test came positive later.
Nagaraj had recently joined the BJP but he was elected twice on a Congress ticket, from Kurubarahalli ward in 2001 and from Nandini Layout ward in 2010. In 2015, he lost from Nandini Layout.
As per sources, he will be cremated at his home village of Attibele.
