ASI Madhesh fines driver of Rs 2.5-crore marquee car sans number plate Rs 500
BENGALURU:
An ultra high-end Ferrari car worth more than Rs 2.5 crore had a ‘date’ with a ‘mere’ traffic cop as the latter, unimpressed by its marquee pedigree, had it pulled over to the kerb for not sporting a license plate.
On Saturday evening, Wilson Garden traffic ASI Madhesh spotted the ‘uber’ expensive car cruising around without a number plate near the Richmond Road flyover.
The driver was slapped with a fine of Rs 500 for not affixing the vehicle registration plate on the car.
Speaking to TheBengalurulive, ASI Madhesh said, “Today, around 5 pm, there was this Ferrari car being driven without a registration plate. Immediately, I stopped the car and checked whether it was registered or not. I found it was registered but the number plate was not on the car. So I penalised the driver Rs 500 and let him go.”
