Returned from Dubai on March 22, were asymptomatic till April 4
BENGALURU:
A couple who returned to the city from Dubai two weeks ago have tested positive for the coronavirus, taking the number of Covid-19 cases to 146 in Karnataka, an official said on Sunday.
Residents of Madiwala, the husband, 68, and wife, 62, returned from Dubai on March 22, and have now tested positive for the virus.
The duo was quarantined in Akash Hospital at Devanahalli on the city’s northern outskirts, near the international airport, on arrival.
“The couple were kept in isolation at the hospital. They remained asymptomatic till Saturday but displayed Covid-19 symptoms on Sunday,” added the official.
