Travancore Devaswom board’s appeal says heavy rains are forecast

PATTHANAMTHITTA:

As heavy rains continue to batter Kerala, the Travancore Devaswom Board has requested Ayyappa devotees to avoid visiting Sabarimala on October 17 and 18.

Board PRO Sunil Arumanoor said in a press release that the board has requested devotees not to visit Sabarimala on these two days as heavy rains are forecast, especially in Pathanamthitta district,

Further, the water level in the Pamba river is rising dangerously, he said.
