MYSURU:
Due to high reportage of cases in the district since the last few days, the forest department has kept all the elephants that will be participating in the ‘Jumbo Savari’ and their mahouts in quarantine.
At least 17 people, from the department, looking after the elephants have already undergone testing for COVID-19. All have tested negative for the virus.
The elephants are being trained for the Jamboo Savari.
No public will be allowed near the elephants inside the premises of the Palace, official sources said. (Agency)
