Bringing a message that "Brazil is back" in the fight against global warming, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will meet China and the United States on Tuesday in Egypt for the COP27 talks, on his first foreign trip since being elected Brazilian president. The left-wing leader intended to embark on a busy schedule of meetings with top climate officials from Washington and Beijing as he sought to restore Brazil’s credibility as a partner in global efforts to stem warming, an aide said.
