Bengaluru: A woman named Asha was brutally murdered in Bengaluru, with police arresting her live-in partner Shamsuddin in connection with the crime. The shocking case has exposed a tangled relationship marked by domestic conflict, deception, and eventual tragedy.
According to police, Asha, a widow with two children, had met Shamsuddin while working at a private firm. Despite both having children from previous marriages, the two had been living together in a rented home in Hulimavu, Bengaluru.
Shamsuddin, originally from Assam, had left his wife and children back home and was working in Bengaluru. Asha had moved in with him along with her own children. Over time, repeated arguments and tension developed between the two.

On the day of the incident, police say a fight between the couple escalated to the point where Shamsuddin strangled Asha to death. In an attempt to cover up the crime, he allegedly transported her body on his bike and disposed of it in a garbage truck near Chennamanakere.
The gruesome murder came to light after CCTV footage captured him dumping the body. Based on this evidence, Bengaluru police arrested Shamsuddin, who is now in custody and being interrogated.
The case has raised fresh concerns over the safety of women and the increasing number of violent crimes stemming from domestic disputes. Authorities have confirmed that a formal murder case has been registered and further investigation is underway to establish the full sequence of events.
