Assembly session in Bengaluru: Minister

The monsoon session of the state legislature will be held in Bengaluru.

Speaking to reporters on Monday after visiting the Vidhana Soudha along with the Speaker and Assembly Secretary, Law Minister JC Madhuswamy said the Speaker had given his formal nod.

Precautions like curtains between members’ seats will be taken. Each legislator will be given a face shield and mask. Members of the public will not be allowed to watch the proceedings this time.

For journalists there will be two galleries.  Only senior officials will be granted access, and only one official from each department will be allowed in.
