BENGALURU:
The state capital continues to show a surge in infections, with 144 new cases recorded on Friday, along with 3 deaths.
The city also has the highest active cases of 1,327 and the highest positive cases of 1,935 in the state. Bengaluru’s death toll is now 81.
The deaths reported on Friday were a 45-year-old male who died on June 25 and tested positive posthumously, a 63-year-old female and a 66-year-old female.
