Aero India 2027 to Be Held in Bengaluru From February 8-12; Exhibitor Registration Opens September 3
Bengaluru: The 16th edition of Aero India, described as Asia’s largest air show and one of the world’s premier aerospace and defence exhibitions, will be held at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru from February 8 to 12, 2027, with exhibitor registrations scheduled to open on September 3, 2026.
Organised by the Department of Defence Production under the Ministry of Defence, the five-day event will bring together global aerospace and defence companies, policymakers, technology experts, innovators, industry stakeholders and defence forces personnel.
Aero India has developed into a major international platform showcasing India’s capabilities in aerospace, defence manufacturing, emerging technologies and innovation. The event is designed to facilitate business engagement, technology exchange, international cooperation and strategic dialogue while highlighting the country’s expanding defence industrial ecosystem and its role in the global aerospace and defence sector.
The 2027 edition will feature a comprehensive exhibition along with business and strategic engagements. It will provide opportunities for industry-to-industry interactions, government-to-industry engagements, technology demonstrations and collaborations.
Aerial displays by the Indian Air Force and participating international flying teams will also form part of the event, showcasing advanced aviation capabilities.
A dedicated web-based portal has been developed for Aero India 2027 to facilitate participation and provide services to exhibitors and visitors. Online registration and booking of exhibition space will be available through the Aero India portal, with exhibitor registrations beginning on September 3, 2026.
The event is also aimed at supporting India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative and strengthening the country’s position in the global defence and aerospace supply chain.
Aero India 2027 is expected to facilitate greater participation by Indian defence industries, including micro, small and medium enterprises and start-ups, while providing avenues for partnerships, investments, exports and technology collaboration.
