BENGALURU: The Karnataka Lokayukta conducted searches on Thursday at various locations linked to four government officials involved in disproportionate assets cases.
The officials targeted in the raids were identified as Suresh Babu G, Survey Supervisor in the office of the Additional Director of Land Records in Kolar Taluk, Kolar district; Raja Venkatappa Nayak, Taluk Health Officer at the Taluk Health office in Surpur, Yadgir district; M B Ravi, Assistant Executive Engineer at the Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board in Davangere; and G Srinivas Murthy, Assistant Executive Engineer at the Water Resources Department in Mahadevapura.
The searches were conducted simultaneously at all the locations mentioned above.
Sources within the Lokayukta police revealed that numerous incriminating documents, unaccounted money, and valuables were discovered during the searches.
