The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) has voiced serious concerns over the alleged surge in violence against women in the state. The party claims that 1,600 such cases have come to light in the past eight months during the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) rule. To address these concerns, the Congress has established a seven-member fact-finding committee.
