Chief Minister Siddaramaiah formally received the dividend cheque from BIAL Chairman Hari Marar during an event held in Bengaluru. Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil, Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh and KSIIDC Managing Director Khushbu Goel were also present.
According to Minister M.B. Patil, BIAL declared a dividend of ₹3 per share for the financial year 2025-26, resulting in a total payout of ₹16,49,93,400 to KSIIDC. After tax deductions, the corporation received a net amount of ₹14.84 crore.
Patil said the dividend declaration reflects the strong financial recovery and operational performance of Bengaluru International Airport Limited.
He noted that BIAL had not issued dividends in the last several years as profits were being reinvested into major infrastructure and expansion projects at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru.
These investments included capacity expansion, operational upgrades and infrastructure development aimed at strengthening airport operations and supporting growing passenger traffic.
The minister said the latest dividend payout signals improved financial stability and profitability for the airport operator.
Apart from KSIIDC’s 13 per cent stake, the Airports Authority of India also holds 13 per cent equity in BIAL. FIH Mauritius Investments Limited holds a 30.36 per cent stake, while Anchorage Infrastructure Investments Holdings Limited owns 43.64 per cent equity in the company.
Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru is among India’s busiest airports and has witnessed significant expansion projects in recent years, including terminal upgrades and enhanced passenger infrastructure.
