581 yet to return to state: Minister
BENGALURU:
For the first time, the state government has revealed that it has home quarantined around 808 Tablighi Jamaat returnees.
Primary and Secondary Education minister Suresh Kumar said on Wednesday that as per a report from the police department, 808 TJ returnees to Karnataka have been home quarantined. Samples have been taken from all the returnees.
Suresh Kumar also stated that around 581 TJ attendees are yet to return to Karnataka. “All 581 attendees haven’t returned to the state. This is a dynamic list and the numbers are being changed,” he added.
