4 cops suspended in Rs 6 crore marijuana seizure case
Marijuana was found in huge pit in sheep farm

Four police personnel have been suspended for dereliction of duty following the discovery of marijuana worth Rs 6 crore in a huge pit in a sheep farm in Kamalapur taluk.
Kalaburagi SP Simi Mariam George has ordered the suspension of PSI Basavaraja Chittakote, ASI Neelakanthappa and beat policemen Sharanappa and Anil Bhandari.
The marijuana was found in the sheep farm of Lakshmana Nayak in Thanda near Kalagi. The Seshadripuram police in Bengaluru carried out the operation and arrested the two accused.
