Bengaluru: Passengers travelling between Yesvantpur and Pandharpur during Dasara, Deepavali and Chhath will have an additional weekly rail option from October 7, with South Western Railway announcing eight special trips in each direction through November.
The 21-coach express specials will leave Yesvantpur on Wednesdays and Pandharpur on Thursdays. The services are intended to clear the extra festival rush, according to the railway announcement issued by Chief Public Relations Officer Manjunath Kanamadi.
Wednesday departures from Yesvantpur
Train No. 06507 Yesvantpur–Pandharpur Weekly Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 6.15 pm every Wednesday from October 7 to November 25, 2026. It will arrive at Pandharpur at 11.35 am the following day, Thursday.
Thursday return services
Train No. 06508 Pandharpur–Yesvantpur Weekly Express Special will depart from Pandharpur at 1.35 pm every Thursday from October 8 to November 26, 2026. It will reach Yesvantpur at 4.15 am the following day, Friday.
Stops in both directions
Both services will stop at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Chikjajur, Davangere, Harihar, SMM Haveri, SSS Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Gokak Road, Ghataprabha, Rayabag, Miraj, Arag, Kavathe-Mahankal, Dhalgaon, Jath Road and Sangola.
AC, sleeper and general coaches
Each special will comprise 21 coaches: two AC two-tier coaches, six AC three-tier coaches, seven sleeper-class coaches, four general second-class coaches and two luggage-cum-brake van and generator car coaches.
