TV Channel Staffer Stabbed with Beer Bottle After Film Launch Party in Bengaluru; Accused Arrested
Bengaluru: A shocking incident unfolded at a private hotel in Subramanyanagar, Bengaluru, where a staff member of a private TV channel, Bhavit, was critically injured after being stabbed in the neck with a broken beer bottle by his friend Vijay.
The incident occurred late on Guru Purnima night during a party following the launch of six films. Over 20 Sandalwood actors and producers were reportedly in attendance at the event.
According to sources, a verbal argument broke out between Bhavit and Vijay during the after-party, leading to the deadly assault. Bhavit was immediately rushed to a private hospital by friends and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU.
Subramanyanagar police have registered an FIR and arrested the accused Vijay. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the altercation.
